If you want a simple overnight place to stay, safe, extremely clean, and with all the basic things you need, you can’t go past Matilda. Have stayed a few times now and would recommend it to any travellers who don’t want all the expensive bells and whistles! Directly opposite the railway station and one of the best burger joints in the country, open 24hrs!

Clean, Helpful staff when there. A cold night and no help in getting more blankets. Small bathroom.

Great service, location & rooms !
Our stay at Matilda Motel was perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our hosts & other staff were lovely, making sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. The pool area was great to relax in also. We would recommend Matilda Motel for all this and also because of its handy location.

Very good value for money, and super clean! The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was perfect. I would highly recommend if you needed a conveniently located Motel.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and found the stay very enjoyable. The room had a lot of space the bed was comfortable, and we had a great hot shower
