Occidental Costa Cancún All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Nuestra estadía en Occidental Costa Cancún fue muy buena y definitivamente volveríamos. Desde que llegamos, el personal fue muy amable y atento en todo momento, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y hacer que nos sintiéramos cómodos. El hotel tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas y disfrutar sin preocupaciones. Las instalaciones son cómodas, limpias y la ubicación también nos pareció bastante conveniente. Consideramos que la relación calidad-precio es muy buena, especialmente para todo lo que ofrece el hotel. La piscina y las áreas comunes estaban muy bien cuidadas, y en general el ambiente se sentía relajante y agradable. También nos gustó mucho que siempre había actividades y opciones para entretenerse durante el día. Si tuviéramos que mencionar algo para mejorar, quizá sería un poco más de variedad en la comida, ya que después de varios días se vuelve un poco repetitiva. Sin embargo, la comida estaba bien y siempre encontramos algo que nos gustara. Fuera de eso, realmente nos encantó la experiencia. Fue una estadía muy cómoda y agradable, y nos llevamos una muy buena impresión del hotel y de todo el personal. ¡Muchas gracias por hacernos pasar unas lindas vacaciones!"

"We’ve traveled to Cancun several times and decided to give this hotel a try for something new. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes we’ve made while traveling. Shortly after unpacking on our first day, we noticed bugs crawling across the floor and quickly realized they were cockroaches. We immediately contacted the front desk, frustrated and concerned, especially since we were traveling with a baby. The hotel offered to move us, but the new room was directly upstairs from the original room where we found the roaches. Because of this, we never felt comfortable fully unpacking our baby’s belongings or relaxing during our stay, knowing there were cockroaches in the area. Management did not handle the situation well, and overall the experience was extremely disappointing. We ended up leaving 4 days early because we no longer felt comfortable staying at the hotel. Very disappointed overall and would not return."

"The breakfast buffet started to get boring because it was the same stuff everyday. The 24hr lounge had a strong air freshener which made it difficult to sit in there and eat. The food was the same everyday in the 24hr lounge. The ac in our room did not work. Pool was beautiful and warm, and resort was very clean."

"Very clean, comfortable room, great food selection, amazing staff. Special shout out to Diego, from the Unfortunately, there are no beach cabanas, so shade is only possible under the palm trees. It looks nice, but it could be an issue if you have kids. Entertainment at the pool was too loud. No bar service at the beach, so if you are at the beach far from the pool bar (up the stairs), you won’t get many drinks/food through the day, unless you keep walking back and forth. "

"Great property!! Staff was excellent. We stayed in the Preferred club and out butlers Watzon and Hector were amazing. Beach area is a little small but it was still wonderful. Beach and pool staff was amazing. And the food was incredible!!"

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun - All-inclusive

2/10 Terrible

"BEWARE! This was our 3rd trip to The Grand MP in the last 12 months. This will be our last. Each time we have been, more & more restrictions, less inclusions. They admitted to having higher room categories available yet refused to honour my upgrade. The manager at the front desk, Jesus, was very rude to me. Book something else. This is not the place. No updating has happened to the older buildings. They just completed construction on some of the newer buildings. They look incredible. But the rest of the resort has not been up-kept. The elevator in our building was down the entire stay. There was hair in my son’s food one night at dinner. The mixed drinks have a terrible chemical flavour. Towels weren’t always replaced and we had to call a few times to get some for our showers. If zero was a rating, I’d give it that. I didn’t even use a single dollar of the credits I received - they’re not getting a single cent from me again. "
