"She’s a little tired and in need of renovation, but the staff and service are exceptional. My opinion went from “good” to “great” when I inadvertently left a fair amount of money in the in-room safe when I checked out, and not only did the money not “disappear”. It they actively tracked me down to return it to me. Not many hotels have that culture of integrity and customer service, which more than makes up for the paint being chipped. I’ll never stay in another hotel in HCMC - the Rex is my home in VN going forward"

"The rooms with SIGNATURE LOUNGE was wonderful to pay extra for. The one gripe i did have was that every time i walked in to the lounge area, i was asked if i was on the wrong floor or was after the rooftop bar. I was made to feel that i didn't belong until i told the staff my room number. Staff have to be better trained on how to handle this in a more considerate way. People on holidays can still dress smart casual, it might not be your standard but i have paid extra for the benefits of this lounge and i followed the dress code."
