This property probably was a 4-star hotel a long time ago but now it’s a 3. The hallway carpet is torn and the AC in my room didn’t get to the low temperature I wanted even after the maintenance crew adjusted it. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful!

For Kemang, this is a really good property to stay at. I moved here from another hotel in Jakarta Selatan so that I could be within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Good location.

It’s well past its glory. It should simply be called the Kemang. It’s okay, but tired looking. It needs a major upgrade. But it’s still in a good Location for Kemang.

This is a really nice hotel for the price! The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet is pretty good and pool area is spacious and relaxing. The shower in our room was a little slow to drain and the shower head could be upgraded, but this is a minor issue! Highly Recommend for anyone traveling in South Jakarta! ^_^

Nice and spacious hotel with pleasant staff. Cleanliness could be improved. For instance, my bathroom had black mould on tiles and pillows/pillowcases smelled stale.

Hotel was good enough / bed was comfortable. Got 2 free drink vouchers on arrival but when I went to use them and pay they told me I couldn’t use them for those types of drinks even though I had asked specifically to use them. Had to pay full price - was a little frustrating. Overall a one night stay was ok. I will look for alternatives next time.

Have always been frequenting this hotel whenever we're in Kemang. Love the homey atmosphere it gives. Staffs were very pleasant and polite. An array of breakfast selection to choose from. It's always nice to relax by the pool but it does get quite crowded during the weekends and on holidays. Very convenient location, walking distance to a number of eateries and Kemang Village mall. The entrance of the hotel was under construction during our visit, which made it a little difficult for the taxi to drop us off. But other than that, everything was great and we had an enjoyable stay.

Good pool area. Good rooms
Great pool area and friendly staff. The rest of the hotel ordinary, except that rooms are bigger than your average hotel in the same category. It was a good choice for the weekend during a business travel.

Reasonble choice if you stay in South Jakarta area
Bigger size of building that my expectation with cozy swimming pool and big restaurant. Location is pretty good but should bear traffic jam at rush hour. Breakfast and overall service level made me satisfied. Especially, there are some blue bird tax in hotel every time so very easy to go out without any waiting time. Only one thing I want to call out is there room condition. I ran air-condition for a long time but the bedding was damp and safe didn't work and shower head shoot the water into random direction.

The location is in a great neighborhood. However, the hotel seems lack of proper maintenance. The AC was not adjustable and the amenities are very minimals

Personnel- thumbs up to the warmth shown by the Cleaners, security and waiters in the breakfast area, you can sense that they are genuinely happy to see and welcome guests. However, the same can’t be said about the front desk, from the point of check-in the lady made me feel rather unwelcome, perhaps I’m being sensitive here. Also, a more meticulous method of tracking the foreign currency paid for deposit would be good for your hotel. This is because I was issued USD$100 when I placed a SGD $100 deposit. Being honest, I alerted the counter to the error :) Facilities - the free shuttle bus needs to be punctual as advertised, on 22nd I waited from 10:55am till 11:30am and the first shuttle bus did not arrive. Despite notifying the staff who proceeded to call, giving me the reason that the traffic was jammed, I was able to get a Gojek car within 1 minute and it arrived within 2 mins. As for the spa, it was disappointing on two occasions. On 23rd Sunday night 9pm we went to the spa to try their service. (It isn’t very easy to find the way there since the arrows on the poster signalling the direction is at the bottom of it) The spa lady told us there were no more masseurs, that all went home. I told her that it’s ok and I would like to make an appointment for Monday morning. She told me that I wouldn’t have to, just need to walk in at 10am. I did that at 9.50am the next day and was turned away by another lady saying they were full. How are you full before you open?

We will do our best to resolve the issue by requesting the drivers to come and pick up our guests as scheduled. A typically good stay at the Grand Kemang. The only, small, issue was that I could not get the AC to do anything other than very cold on high fan speed. Fine during the day if I happened to be in the room, but I turned the AC off at night. Room was clean and comfortable, a good spread of food at the breakfast buffet and, as usual, an interesting and eclectic art collection in the lobby.

Good facilities, very relaxing.
Spacious and relaxing ambience. Design is contemporary but quite elegant. Excellent, deep, pool. Excellent breakfast, with eating area overlooking the pool. In-house "English" pub with happy hours, although very quiet when I looked in. Also another bar with regular live bands. Overall very good value for money. Very convenient for Lipo Mall Kemang, which is a medium sized and fairly up-market mall with an attractive outdoor seating area, big screen, and adjacent food/refreshment outlets. Free hourly shuttle takes only 10-15 mins to go there or return.
