The property itself if very comfortable and warm during winter. It also felt safe and secure. As usual with guest houses and hostels your experience may vary depending on who the fellow guests are especially when sharing rooms so keep this in mind.

Made a rather last minute booking so in some sense it was value for money. Room was quiet since it wasn't full. Would have preferred very much if the shower and the toilet cubicle were separate. Other than the pleasant and friendly foreign male volunteer/worker whom I met at check-in and check-out, service is just okay. If you are looking for a quiet stay alone, this would be suitable. If you are looking for more social and lively stays though, this might not be for you.

Staff change is needed
Location is good. Female floor and dormitory is a nice idea, however, some of the staff members made it horrible experience. Volunteer from Uruguay and the other very inexperienced volunteer from the U.S. behaved unprofessional and sometimes inappropriate. Especially, the staff from Uruguay was disrespectful on 2 occasions. If they replace these 2 people, I would definitely return to stay here.

high street guest house is very closed to the new hip place university town. there are lots of nightlife options and food option there . Check in and check out processes are pretty straight forward. would recommend this place.

The owner was very kind and the rooms were great. We stayed in a room with a bunk that was attached to a common space shared with another room and a shared bathroom. It was clean, comfortable, and everything worked just the way it should. We had a lot of baggage with us but it was still easy to get to from Hongik University Station. Very great experience if you want a place to stay that feels like your own little apartment in Seoul.

Really good located hostel with comfortable bed, nice shared kitchen and clean bathroom. Location is quite but just few minutes away from the party area and the subway station. I totally raccomand this guesthouse :)

Great hostel
The owner and manager were very helpful and kindly offered help. This is definitely a good choice for people with tight budget and doesn't mind sharing a room with others.

Best Option on Seoul
The staff is amazing, the location is great. Rooms and facilities are all neat clean and new. Breakfast is simple but good. You can meet other people during your stay. I guess you will hardly find a better choice in Seoul within this price range. I totally recommend Family and Friends House as your first option in Seoul

As a person who enjoys minimalist designs, I find the hostel well suited to my taste and needs. Since the hostel is relatively new, the rooms are clean. The common room area has a huge TV with a long make-up table and mirror. The only down side is that there is only one bathroom for the whole floor (3 bedrooms) and sometimes the ventilation of the bathroom is not ideal. The hostel location is slightly far from the popular section of Hongdae (10 minutes walk) but it is located at a nicer, quieter section where there are more western restaurants and coffee shops.

Absolutely perfect
I stayed for 5 nights as a solo business traveller. The hostel is new, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Personal light and charger for each bed. Big solid beds means no disturbance from room mates. Breakfast was simple, fresh and gratefully received. Location is 3 blocks from hongik university metro station - on the residential and less noisy side Staff - linette, Ellie and wonnie are excellent hosts providing friendly service and advice about travel and sightseeing. One I the best hostels ever stayed at (after at least 100) will definitely stay again Highly recommended

チェックインするときにカカオトークか電話で連絡とのことだったが、カカオトークは持っていないし、電話番号も海外では使えないプランなのでチェックインが不便。また、ベッドから汗のような匂いがした。 値段を考えれば妥当かも。

곰팡이와 친구합니다^^
단독주택을 게하로 만들어서 우선 많이 어수선하구요 주인은 한국인인데, 직원은 외국인 남여를 두셔서 그 분들만 계세요. 그리고 한국말을 거의 뜨문뜨문 하세요.ㅜ,ㅜ 외국에 가서 여권이나 신분증을 확인하는건 봤지만 여긴 직원이 주민번호 뒷부분을 가리고 사진을 찍어요 주인에게 보내주기 위한건지 뭔지는 모르겠지만 이게 아주 기분이 나쁘더라구요 거기까지는 그래도 어찌저찌 투숙정보때문이구나 해서 참을만한데 방이 참.. 트윈룸을 예매했는데 장마가 오래라 벽에 곰팡이 꽃들이 마구 피어있어요 벽면만이면 그나마 이해가 가는데 바닥도 끈적거리고 전반적으로 좀 충격적이었어요 그런데 홈에는 코로나로 2단계 청소가 되어있다는 안내 문구가 있어서ㅋㅋ 에어컨 내부는 곰팡이로 그득 검어요ㅜ,ㅜ 도착한 시간만 아니었으면 그냥 나갔을텐데 그날 너무 피곤해서 우선 제가 대충 30분 정도 청소하고 묵었는데 게하는 세번째인데 앞으로 게하는 믿고 걸러야겠다 싶을정도로 별로였어요. 그래도 외국인 남자분이 그나마 친절했고 여자분은 뭔가 전혀 도와주시지 않더라구요 여자분이 안내해주길 바랬었는데ㅜ,ㅜ 후기를 이렇게 쓰는편이 아닌데 연남동 게하에 머무를 거라면 여기는 좀 고려해보셨으면 해요^^ 공동 도미토리는 안 묵어봐서 잘 모르지만 우선 개별룸은 정말 힘들었어요! 날 좋아졌으니 도배와 청소를 하신다면 모르겠네요!!

열흘정도 일때문에 잠만 잘 곳이 필요해서 이용 했습니다. 일반 주택 구조라서 안락하게 잘 사용했습니다. 총 4층으로 구성된듯 하구요. 저는 4층 여성전용 6인 도미토리룸을 사용했습니다. 제가 사용한 방 외에 2개의 방이 더 있는 듯했는데 코로나 기간이라 이용객은 없었습니다. 화장실, 침실, 거실이나 이불, 소품등의 청결상태는 괜찮았습니다. 저와 다른 여성 한 분만 사용 중이라 욕실 이용에는 전혀 어려움이 없었지만 여행객이 많을 시기에는 4층에 욕실이 하나 뿐이라 욕실 사용이 조금 어려울 수도 있겠다고 생각했네요~그리고 지금 여성 6인실에 중국인 한 분이 장기 사용중이신 듯 한데 공간을 본인 마음대로 사용하는 느낌이 있네요. 늦은밤에 등 하나만 남기고 소등하면 굳이 바로 나와서 다켜놓고 비가와서 너무 추워서 창문을 살짝 닫으면 바로 일어나서 활짝 다 열어놓고를 반복했네요. 장기 거주분은 좀 관리를 하실 필요가 있을듯 합니다.

The guest house says: be quit after 11pm, but the noiest one is staff themselves. Washing machine keep running after 12pm. Using hair dryer , playing games in living room after 12pm. It's the noiest guest house I have never seen.

During 25th night,The staff turn on the TV and play the movie so loud even though It was 2 o'clock already. And other guests also are annoyed.Almost 3-4 am they still made a noisy and shut the door so loud.Moreover one of them snored all night.I couldn't sleep at all because he's sleeping under my bulk bed.

ロケーションと室内の雰囲気が気に入ってるので何度も利用していますが、オーナーが変わって韓国以外の方が携わるようになって清潔感が下がったような気がします。先日滞在の時はシーツが汚れていて直ぐに替えてもらいました。ベッドの枕元の壁の汚れも気になりました。 共有バストイレも洗面台の汚れが気になりました。深夜トイレに行くとペーパーが切れていて、ストックもありませんでした。 オーナーが代わったからしょうがないのかもですが、残念です。 後レセプションのフロアが 人が何日もお風呂に入っていないような臭いが染み付いて、これも残念でした。 以前のオーナー(韓国人女性)は本当に清潔な方だったなぁと実感させられました。是非改善して頂きたいです。

宿名が以前と変わっていました。前のオーナーもいなかったので手放したのかな? 弘大の定宿にしていましたが他を探そうと思います。
