"Hotel was very conveniently located. The Haneda sky garden was directly outside the lobby and a short walk to terminal 3. Room was clean, though design is still somewhat dated. Wish the bathroom was slightly bigger but no issues for a short stay."

"The hotel was hosting a large group of young lacrosse players attending a tournament in the city, and unfortunately the behaviour throughout the property was completely out of control. Children were running up and down the hallways unrestrained late into the evening and early in the morning. At one point, nets were actually set up in the second-floor hallway and a lacrosse game was taking place indoors. It was unbelievable that this was allowed to continue without intervention from hotel management. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no hot water in the morning, making it impossible to shower. Before checking out, we attempted to have breakfast in the restaurant, where food was being served buffet-style. Young kids were reaching into the bacon container with their bare hands, which was completely unsanitary and unacceptable. We immediately decided to leave and went to a local restaurant instead. What was most disappointing was the apparent lack of any management presence or effort to monitor and correct behaviour throughout the hotel. The atmosphere felt chaotic, with little regard for other guests trying to enjoy a peaceful stay. Needless to say, we will not be returning."

Shinagawa Prince Hotel

"If you want to stay near Shinagawa Station, this is the place but be forewarned, there is a LOT of construction at the station. Also, there are three towers at the Prince complex and it can get confusing getting around. This hotel is big and therefore, very busy. The lobby reminded me of Grand Central Station particularly at checkout time. We had a room with free breakfast and the breakfast buffet (Hapuna) was a mob scene. If you have ever been to Las Vegas during a major conventions, you get what I am talking about. Long line to get in, long lines for coffee and food (though the food was excellent). We stayed in the main tower. This hotel is a factory so you get the benefit of a large hotel in Tokyo, but it can feel impersonal and overly busy. The room was small (normal by Tokyo standards) and on a high floor we had a nice view of Tokyo Tower. It was clean (two twin beds) and the bath was modern. It was the last stay in a three week trip to Japan and this hotel was by far the most congested place we stayed. One other thing, I booked the Prince thinking I could get a direct airport bus to Narita, but they do not stop there. You have to take a taxi to the airport center to get a bus. The hotel shopping is good and fairly priced. There is a 7-Eleven in the hotel that is hard to find."

"Très bel hotel et déjeuner très complet. Situé un peu trop loin des activités de Tokyo, mais accessible par métro. Personnel très accueillant. Belle chambre, mais manque de tiroir pour organiser notre séjour pour 4-5 nuits."

"It’s so many of these hotels. This hotel has 2 building. It’s has opening in the middle of the building. At less you would know how warm or cold it is. This is my second time stay at APA Hotel. I’ll would stay at APA Hotel again."

Shinjuku Prince Hotel

"Hotel in a good location close to the train station, shopping and nighlife. The only problem for me is the noise from the train(station) if you get a room facing the station, like in my case. Its quite annoying if you want to sleep a bit longer. Woukd i stay there again, yes, but only if it is guaranteed that i get a room that is facing the road, not the train station."
