"This is a lovely and new hotel. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, modern with lovely finishes. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and the bar was a nice place to relax after exploring George Town. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Handy location where you can easily walk to lots of restaurants and even a mall if you felt like it."

If you appreciate the history, literary and literal, of Raffles Hotel in Singapore, and project it to Penang, you're "there" at the Seven Terraces. As One who lived in South East Asia decades ago, this is a "beam me up, Scotty" opportunity for time travel. If you accept the proposition that a single overnight experience is severely limiting, give yourself at last two nights, allowing you to "return" to your accommodations at the Seven Terraces and steep yourself in their comforts, both in the...

The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. In particular, Kumar who was manning the front of the house and check-in was most accommodating and left an indelible impression on us with his generosity and making the stay most memorable.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Eateries are easily accessible. We were happy to have chosen this hotel for our stay in Penang.

Service at the Jawi Peranakan is first rate - very prompt, attentive and yet unobtrusive from all the staff. Guests feel most welcomed.
The rooms are tastefully furnished with Moorish/Indian accents and the grounds provide a tranquil respite from the traffic outside.
Guests don't have to walk too far for meals and shopping. There is a good mix of high-end as well as cheap dining options nearby. Shops at Campbell Street and Chowrasta Market are about a 10-15 minute walk away.

Very large rooms at reasonable prices. Business suite is very conducive even for meetings if need be. Most amenities are provided in the room and others may be available upon request. Only caveat is that there are many switches in the room including those that power the air conditioner and the water heater and it is not easy to figure out what is for what.

Room was quite large, newly furnished, and smelled clean and fresh. The breakfast was fairly sizable, but basically the same thing every day, the swimming pool was great, very clean amenities.

My second time staying at this hotel as I love how near it it to many places. Hotel breakfast could be improved.
1st Avenue, Prangin Mall, Komtar are opposite the hotel. Famous Penang food street (Chendol, Fried Kway Tiao, Assam Laksa, White Curry noodles) and many other mobile food stores are just behind the hotel, mobile food stalls turned into a night food street after 6pm! Walkable distance to many other tourist sites but if not, Grab is soooooo convenient (and cheap). RM4 to clan...

Checking in late but my room is already reserved. Only thing I dislike is when they do not accept debit card payment for their deposit. Overall everything is good, staffs are friendly and can speak well English. Room is bigger and nicer that expected.

If you and your partner need a romantic escape, we've got just the ticket. If you want to get out and explore the larger area, you might head to Raja Tun Uda Ferry Terminal, Pinang Peranakan Mansion or 1st Avenue Mall. If you're interested in staying close to a certain attraction, you can sort by neighbourhood or distance to top sights, so you'll be able to see everything on your list.
What is there to do in Clan Jetty?
There's nothing better than experiencing a new place with your sweetheart, so consider taking time to discover all that Clan Jetty has to offer. There's plenty to see in the greater Little India area, so you might plan to visit Raja Tun Uda Ferry Terminal, Pinang Peranakan Mansion or 1st Avenue Mall.
