Hotels near Plantation Village Shopping Center

"My first room had a bathtub leaking water before I even used it. Staff said it was fixed, but the next time I showered the entire bathroom flooded. It honestly seemed like the tub was cracked and they had glued down an anti-slip mat over it. The second room had the same issue, just less severe after a long shower. There was also a noticeable moldy smell unless the bathroom fan stayed on constantly. The walls were surprisingly soundproof since I barely heard anyone during my stay, and I didn’t find any bugs after thoroughly checking both rooms. Parking was plentiful as well. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t seem to have much authority beyond switching rooms. Overall, this hotel feels very outdated and poorly maintained. The beds sag badly, and it seems like things only get replaced when absolutely necessary. The only reason I stayed was because the flight + hotel package was cheap for 5 nights. You get what you pay for."

"The room was clean, but very humid, AC was set at 55 when we arrived, turned up to 73, but remained humid all night. "

"The lady who checked in us took from us $30 for transfer from the hotel to the port. Than we got to the ship the driver said we owe him $30 we told him we already paid. But he was arguing with us. And ended paying him. So, we paid twice for the same service. "

"Everything was great, friendly and helpful staff, room was clean, comfy bed, shower was great as well. "

"Overall very nice. Parking nice. Staff very nice. Quite up scale decorating and near many great stores and restaurants with many in walking distance. The only thing that really turned me off was the fact that there was a 2 inch plus cockroach on the floor when I got up in the morning on the carpeting right in the doorway of our bedroom. Coming from northern Michigan that’s not something you see, let alone at that outrageous size. I know those are things you find in the south, but it really shook me up. That being said, I’m sure that could happen at any hotel even those that are very clean. I would likely still book there again."
