"Excellent located hotel. We stayed in the northern wing in a nice corner room with great view to the Rossio square. The room was well appointed and immaculate clean. It had an espresso maker with capsules, comfy bed and towels. The towel was brand new, with porcelain tiles and a great rain shower. The location cannot be better within walking distance to major sites and the metro. Highly recommended."

"A charming, boutique hotel with helpful staff. Dining options in the hotel and nearby were very good. We spent time at the family friendly park across the street. We will stay at the Alegria again!"

"If you want a view this is not the place. Also the cars are not allowed on the street of the entrance. If you have a little luggage it’s fine. It’s a great location, helpful and friendly staff and very clean. They need to change the selection of breakfast at least every 3 days. The selection is sufficient but 7 days of the same things is not good."

"This place is quiet and very basic. It has some nice amenities like hot water and coffee machines on every floor plus a rooftop with a pretty view of the river. The hotel itself was a bit eclectic and not in the most convenient part of town. "

"Comfortable stay at Moxy Lisbon City. The place smells amazing when you walk in and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had meant to be 3 travelling but were only 2 in the end and had the 'Family' room option. The sofa bed is very low so appears to be on the floor versus the main bed but both comfy and blackout blinds were much appreciated. We booked it as it was central and had a rooftop pool - unfortunately the weather meant we didn't make the most of the pool but a great...

"Great location in a safe area and central to restaurants, shops and local transportation. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice free breakfast from 7:30-10:30. My room was super clean and I had an amazing view of the city/water. There was construction across the street that was a little noisy at night but obviously that’s not the hotels fault. The elevator was hit or miss with weather it worked or not. Overall I would recommend. "

"Place was great. Thought the bar/ restaurant would be a bit more. No beer on tap, chilled mugs/ dinner served only at certain times. We came mid afternoon thinking we could get a meal. But great little bar in the lobby- just missing a few things weary travellers might need. Very helpful. Convenient to the airport . Staff helpful. "
