Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast worth the money. The hotel had a lovely ambiance and I would definitely stay again. I loved the fact you could pay hourly for a late checkout if the room isn’t needed and it wasn’t a lot of money either.

The room is very small, especially the entrance into the room and toilet. Not much space to hang clothes as well. Very near the subway Midosuji line. Staffs were able to assist me in helping to communicate with the previous hotel to retrieve back my passport that was left in the safe.

Quiet hotel with cool modern vibes - really like the inviting woody scent in the lobby. The indoor onsen is really nice, especially when it's chilly outside. Rooms are super clean. The room walls are rather thin - you might catch some hallway chatter at night or early morning and hear what's going down in the neighboring rooms.

Great location near the train, room was comfortable although my view wasn't good. I wanted to use the bath house however it advised not to if you have tattoos which I did not feel was welcoming as a hotel with tourists who commonly have tattoos, so I missed out on that. Overall a very nice stay and I give it 5 stars because it was a great value for the quality of the hotel.

Misleading, dark, and smelly
This hotel was absolutely presenting itself and its reviews as far more charming, high end and compelling than actually staying there was. I feel misled. The bathroom smelled like a sewer (there must be something wrong w the pipes as other reviewers have mentioned the same problem), there was no real window, they don’t clean the rooms unless you ask, and there’s extremely loud (even for New Yorkers) construction happening outside all day. I feel bad for the employees, as it’s not their fault… but this was a nightmare. A two star hotel at best. Don’t stay here.

Overall it was good. The room was a little smaller and darker than expected. It was the only hotel we stayed at on our trip that had a combined bathroom with toilet/tub/shower in one room. It was a little too dark in the room and we thought the bathroom was a bit cramped and steamed up too much with such a low ceiling.

Nice stay at this hotel. Room was big enough and clean. Great location in Osaka. In a quiet street but close to the metro and walking distance to most sites. No tattoos allowed in public bath. Which was a bummer since all hotels I visited allowed me to cover them.

From our many hotel stays during our trip to Japan, this hotel was our favourite by far. The location was perfect with enough around without being too busy/crowded, and the walk to the nearest train station was a just a few minutes away. We were able to store our bags with them to explore before check in at 3pm and we also didn't have any problems with our luggage transfer from our last hotel. This hotel has an onsen however we unfortunately weren't able to enjoy it as we are heavily tattooed, but they did provide some bath salts we could enjoy in our room. I also really liked that they provided fresh towels every day by hanging a bag of them on our front door whenever we didn't request for room service. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Osaka.

It’s a nice boutique hotel. I love the decor. The room is pretty. I really enjoyed variety choices of delicious breakfast buffet. The staffs are helpful. Overall really satisfied.

Perfect hotel away from the madness of the main spots and just a 2 minute walk to the subway station that brings you everywhere you need! Hotel itself had lots of amenities the staff where very helpful and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve stayed in in Japan! Also the hotel it’s so calm peaceful and clean.

From the moment you walk in you will feel “in peace”, the smell, the “no noise”: everything is perfect and so clean. Room is very big for the standard here. There is a beautiful private onsen which is perfect to end the day. I wish all hotels were like this one, book it, you will not regret it!

Very nice hotel and we liked the location (about 10 minute train ride from all the busy areas). The staff was very nice, god amenities, very clean. The room was probably the smallest on our trip though (including Tokyo).

Good hotel with a larger than normal bathroom for Japan. Room was big enough for one person, could be tight for two. But you’re not in there much. The restaurant was cheap, although breakfast options were limited and nothing has English translations, so was a bit of a gamble.
