Was looking for an inexpensive last minute stay while in downtown Osaka, and found this gem. Front desk service was friendly and nice, even with my lack of Japanese.
The A/C made the entire stay comfortable, from the moment we walked in, the 7th floor room had easy access to the ice and vending machine (not on every floor), and the room was fantastic. Small but everything we needed.
The free WiFi was fast and easy to connect to.
The bathroom was clean and roomy. I’ve hit my head on some of the smaller shower ceilings, but not here.
Basically everything was perfect for a one night stay. My only problem was that I would have liked two pillows instead of one, but I understand this is not common for Japanese hotels, and I probably could have gotten an extra one had I asked, but it wasn’t a huge deal.
Walking distance to Dotonbori, where we got the best ramen I’ve ever had at Hanamaruken.
