Sandos Playacar All Inclusive

"I really like Sandos. This is my third stay with Sandos Playa Del Carmen. It was off season so the pool was drained at the adult section but I found other pools on the property and spent more time at the beach. All the restaurants had delicious food and great service. There was a bit of a glitch at my check in. I checked in on September 23 around 10:00pm. The bell boy left me at my room and after he left I checked the sliding glass door and it wouldn't lock. I tried guest services three times and no one answered I ended up walking to the Lobby and it was about 10:30pm. I asked for a different room and to talk to the night manager. The girl was leaving as her shift was ending. She called the manager and set up a room. I was expecting that the manager was coming to assess my requests. During the wait the other front desk was checking in families that came after my arrival. I waited approximately an hour and when she completed the check ins I asked why I had to wait as I was there before the other three families. She explained that her job was to check in people. The night manager finally showed up and was rude to me and didn't want to listen to me at all. He was also rude to the bell boy who had been busy driving all the check ins to their rooms. I thought that the night manager was the worst customer service I had ever at at a Sandos Resort. I didn't get his name. I am going to be back because everyone else I came in contact with was great at looking after me. I came by myself"

"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was so secluded and private. Absolutely loved the private pool for cooling off. The ocean view was wonderful to wake up to and enjoy at the end of the day. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Customer service, serving people who are drinking all day is challenging to say the least. Every single person we met was friendly, happy to be of service and seemed genuinely cheerful. The food was wonderful and the drinks were great. There was a very wide variety of both. We absolutely loved spending time in the lazy river area. There were a lot of couples lounging and reading and it was a great way to spend a day. This is one experience where the stay exceeded my expectations. The photos really don’t do the experience justice. We will absolutely be back someday."

"This is my 2nd visit. The staff are friendly, clean facilities, abundance of fresh fruits and huge selections of food in the buffet. We went in early September so it was off-season however there were still quite a few people there still. We felt like we were in our own huge villa. I highly recommend this property. Can’t wait to go back."
