"This property was beautiful on the outside with a great pool scene. It is also conveniently located just steps away from Playa Mamita Beach and 5th Avenue. HOWEVER, internally, the room was quite run down and dirty. Many electrical outlets didn't work. The entire hotel's water was shut of during the middle of the night secondary to reportedly repeated water pump failures explained to me by the manager of the property. "We stayed at Platinum Yucatán Princess for 5 days and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the amenities throughout the resort were excellent. One thing we really appreciated was the variety of food options available each day. There was always something different to try and the 24/7 room service was a huge bonus. We requested housekeeping to make up our room once during our stay and they did such an outstanding job that it felt like the room had never even been touched before we arrived. There were plenty of activities by the pool every day along with nightly entertainment so there was always something fun to do. We also treated ourselves to a couples spa experience which was incredibly relaxing and well worth it. A special thank you to Elizabeth for making our check-in process smooth and enjoyable. If you're lucky enough to have her assist you, you'll be off to the best possible start to your vacation. The bellboys were also extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. We'd also like to recognize the servers at the Yucatán Buffet breakfast who consistently provided excellent service every time we come to eat. The resort felt very safe with great security throughout the property which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at Platinum Yucatán Princess and would not hesitate to return. We hope to come back again in the future!"
