"We had a great two night stay at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden. Staff were very attentive and helpful upon checking in, allowing us to access our room earlier than anticipated which was a big bonus. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the views were fantastic. The hotel is located minutes away from Yu Garden, but we found it a good location for the Bund area, and a central location for activities further out, which as Disneyland. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers, especially if they want to be close to some key tourist attractions."

"Helpful staff, always on hand to assist with queries, luggage and umbrella! We had a Junior Suite which had a lot of room and great en suite. The only downside was that the sauna was not available. Located next to New World City with access via the hotel and ideally situated for Nanjjng Road and shopping. The Sky Dome Bar has excellent views. Highly recommended!"

Every day we returned to find the room serviced immaculately, with an impressive level of attention to detail throughout our stay. For a hotel of this standard, we also thought the value for money was outstanding. Everything about the experience felt genuinely five-star, from the room itself to the warmth and professionalism of the staff. It was a fabulous stay from start to finish, and we would return to Mandarin Oriental Shanghai in a heartbeat."
