"Reception staff didn’t find very welcoming or friendly on arrival or departure. I felt they expected me to know where to go to find my room and how to depart leaving my room card in a box. Carpet in the room had an area that looked wet on arrival. Overall my room was comfortable and adequate for my overnight stay."

"Spa and gym is beautiful. The room was tired and had few issues. It was clean but no checks from user experience. Such as bathroom door not clothes properly, shower handle comes off as soon as you turn it, flush was hit or miss. But spa is gorgeous and current reason we visit."

"Lovely bed, clean room and really positive staff. However the maintenance of the hotel was lacking. Our TV was VERY wonky on the wall, sockets were damaged and “pushed back” into their face plates. Vending machines out of order. So so the good, silly things let it down. For the price point, won’t be staying again as there is better, but if location is important, it is a good hotel with excellent staff and service level."

"The room smelt awful someone had clearly been smoking in there, the radiator was broken and stuck on full heat, there were stains on the walls, it was so noisy you can hear everything going on. I woke up at 1:15 and there were mice in the room - disgusting! "

"The location is fantastic, an impressive main entrance reception area. The bar restaurant area is fantastic and so were the staff. The room was disappointing, no safe, no extractor fan for the bathroom and the bathroom door lock was broken. The toilet failed to flush first go which was annoying especially considering the price tag. Breakfast eggs both fried and scrambled were cold both mornings. The bar meal was top drawer - we enjoyed that. Generally it was a nice stay."

"Overall, the stay was great. The location is fantastic. It’s about five minute walk from the Westminster Bridge. All of major tube & bus station is close by. variety in the breakfast buffet would be nice. And the other thing would be our bathroom smelled of mold. other than that, I felt the our stay was lovely."
