Ok, but wouldn't stay again due to poor A/C
Weak Central A/C, no control over temperature. Desk was too low, unable to get legs under while sitting on the seat. Internet speeds was a bit on the slow side. Staff were friendly. Rooms very clean, and great water pressure. Bed was comfortable. Window CAN be opened, but there is a sign saying do not open. With the poor central A/C, I found it absolutely necessary to open the window, even in chilly March.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighbourhood
Nice hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. It is 10 minutes walk from subway station. There is a supermart nearby. Great location to stay for those who want easy access to Kyoto and Osaka.

If you book here get the best suite rooms at economical price and great view other cheaper rooms will smell a little like cigarettes due to central ac system. The Female receptionist who helped us at check out on a Monday was very professional and compassionate my sister had fallen and the receptionist was very compassionate and endearing. The male receptionist was also very helpful and friendly

Charged $20 more for 3 hrs early ckeck in. Our stay was for five days and I safely assume they should. It have charged us. We were entitled to this benefit.

Restful stay
After a sketchy start, the staff here were most certainly all wonderful. English language is not strongly used but then again this is Japan, and most visitors should understand we need adjust not the other way around. Yamato Yamaguchi, the General Manager and his team were excellent. Thank you for making our stay restful. The lady at the restaurant is such a happy addition, Mishino. She was a sunshine waiting for us at breakfast.

Far from shin osaka station.
The hotel is far from the subway. One station away from shin osaka station. You need to transfer to subway from JR shin osaka station. If you are using JR pass, you need yo buy separate tickey for the subway. The subway station is a long walk from shin osaka station too. Not convenient if you are traveling with luggages or with children or old ones.

good location close to railway station.
Decent hotel. The whole bathroom is a prefab insert. Small. Toiletries are not individual. Soap and shampoo are communal squirt bottles. Only complimentary green tea. No English tv channels. Clean and quiet with great access to Osaka. Red light district very close, lots of guys in suits late at night pimping women. Like Oakland. lol

Very Nice Hotel
Nice hotel and very affordable. As usually, attentive staff and they can speak some English. My room was economy, but VERY roomy, and comfy for two people. Clean and tidy, nice area. Somewhat close to Shin-Osaka main station. I walked to this hotel from the station with luggage.

Good hotel 5 min. walk from station.
I just spend a little amount of time there at Shin Osaka hotel. The condition is not so bad, old facilities but clean. Room is well maintained but I got smoking room even I reserve non-smoking. Price is OK for what I got.

Was okay but wasn't clean. We stayed for 2 nights and there were some stains on the sheets on both nights even though the room was cleaned between the days (so the first and changed sheets were not clean). It looked like water marks but you can't be sure.

They need maps of Osaka in English for international travellers. The air-conditioning isn't,very cold. The room is bit warm although air-conditioning is on full.

Nice hotel with free parking
So hard to find free parking in Japan. This hotel is comfortable and adequate for a budget customer. Family friendly. I recommend this hotel for anyone traveling by car to Osaka.

Inconvenient location for leisure travel
My error in booking. Didn't realize there is a Shin Osaka Hotel and a Hotel Shin'osaka. The second is located directly across the train station is what I wanted.

There are two Shin Osaka's in the area
Claim: Pillow Top matress - nah- maybe pillow comforters. Hard pillows. Your e-mail showing map of hotel, shows the OTHER Shin. This hotel is farther than the other. Airconditioning provided -- nice cool if you open windows. Free breakfast -- edible, but that's about it. The staff was very friendly, and helpful, and that is a plus.
