"Staff were helpful and also got ourselves a complimentary room upgrade as the room tier we booked are fully booked (will take it as a win). Would be great if the toilet bowls were equipped with bidet function though. Would also be great to have a hanger for hand towels next to the sink, aside from that all is good."

"Good hotel but a little dated. There are very few places to store luggage and only one luggage rack. there is no drawer space and little hanging room meaning that you are living out of your suitcase. The location is second to none with easy access to the MRT."

"We had a great stay at the Holiday Quay Clarke Hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which really made the experience more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, and one thing I truly appreciated was their green initiative. The filtered and safe drinking water system was a big plus. No need to buy bottled water, which is both convenient and environmentally friendly. The food was okay. I was expecting a bit more variety, but it was still decent and satisfying. The selections were almost the same each day, so adding more variety would definitely improve the experience. The location is excellent. The area is very walkable, with plenty of nearby establishments. There are also bikes available for rent, which is a nice touch if you want to explore. Grab service was quick and reliable, making it easy to get around. Overall, I would recommend staying in this area. With a few improvements in food variety, this hotel can offer an even better experience."

"Elevators wre being renovated, and there were frequently people on them who missed their floor. But just a transitional problem i think. Not enough pool loungers. Staff great. Place nice, location great."

"Bathroom and WC space is very tight. No bottled water or filtered water provided. No face towel or hand towel provided as well. Not considered run down but definitely an aging property. Check in was a mess with only 1 staff on duty when I arrived at 9pm+. She was dealing with a big group of Filipino guests and there was no one to help her. Other guests whom have done their online check in were kept waiting as she complete the check in for the large group. Overall experience was very mediocre. "

"OK hotel, particularly at the price. Rooms rather small and (at least in my room on 2nd floor) bathroom stand right next to bed. OK for solo occupant but very cramped for 2. Almost no shelf space for clothes, with the only options being high up and consequently dusty. I am 6' tall and even I was struggling use these spaces. Reception on 3rd floor is rather like a travel agency in 1970, with 2-3 seated people behind desks. Not a welcoming experience in my view. Hotel is close to Clarke Quay but separated by a busy road. Getting to Clarke Quay is outside on overpasses. No shops or any facilities around the hotel. Use the hotel restaurant (I did not) or walk to CQ where lunch and dinner are catered for but breakfast scarce."
