"Hotel location is fantastic with the Somerset MRT station below, staff welcomed us in the morning when we arrived from the airport and stored our luggage and allowed us to access the pool and shower facilities early which was convenient. Breakfast options are excellent "

"As ever an excellent hotel with friendly, courteous helpful staff but had a problem at check-in when one of my party’s booking (made by me for daughter and her family as spouse and I had a sep booking) had gone from 2 adults and 2 children with 2 double beds when done in Expedia (have copy of receipt) to 2 single beds at check-in. Nah, that wasn’t going to fly. The Duty Manager sorted in 15 minutes, more kudos to her. A problem of concern was the boardwalk around the pool at approx1500. The boardwalk is wooden but it is far too hot to stand on without footwear. If there are warning signs they need to be larger and more obvious. Consequently when daughter and her children (who swim like fish thanks to their parents) tried to WALK from the lounge chairs to the water they had to run lest they burned their feet. It is NOT safe to run at any pool. Secondly, there are signs telling the pool users to shower before entering the water. Nobody at the pool did as most just ran into the water. My daughter ran (not wanting to) the shower area which had a slate floor and it was even hotter than the wooden boardwalk. She had to jump into the water to escape the burning and consequently did not shower. She told me her feet hurt for an hour afterwards. It’s not as if daughter and her partner (the children’s father) are not used to pools as they are both qualified swimming instructors and are national and international swimmers. Stay there again? Yes, a favourite. Grandchildren loved it"

"Great place, situated near a lot of restaurants, and Clarke Quay, which you can go for a boat ride. Take the breakfast, there is a lot of variety, good food. Our room didn't have the best view, but the proximity of the metro was worth it. "

"This hotel is a reasonably affordable place to stay with all the necessary amenities. We particularly love the buffet that offers an array of delicious dishes and fresh vegetables and fruits. We also appreciate the fabulous location that take us only minutes to our destinations. "

"Overall, I had a great experience—excellent service and a well-maintained hotel. However, there were a couple of drawbacks worth noting. First, the bathroom design isn’t fully separated from the main room. If you're sharing the space and someone is sleeping, turning on the bathroom lights or using the facilities can easily wake them. This setup isn’t ideal for guests with different schedules or for anyone needing to use the restroom during the night. Additionally, there are no self-service laundry facilities on-site. I was directed to the nearby Victoria Hotel, which does offer laundry machines, but the setup was less than ideal—the washer and dryer are located outdoors, under a shaded area. While functional, it wasn't the most comfortable or convenient arrangement. We did appreciate that the hotel allowed us to use their shower rooms before we went to the airport as we had to check out by noon and our flight did not depart till 9pm. That was definitely a very nice option! Hotel was close to Chinatown (about a mile) and an easy walk there and back with plenty of eateries and shops to peruse on the way there and back. "
