&Here TOKYO UENO

10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The elevators were a little tight and slow but that’s my ONLY complaint. The best part? THE ONSEN! Yes it’s public so you do have to deal with natural bodies in their most natural forms but if you’re comfortable with that then it’s literally the best. My friends and I were in there every night before bed lol."

Mitsui Garden Hotel Ueno Tokyo

Mitsui Garden Hotel Ueno Tokyo

10/10 Excellent
"Great advantage: hotel is very close to a major train hub: Ueno station. The whole area has an abundance of restaurants that offer Japanese and Asian cuisine. The hotel also has a restaurant with limited hours of operation that serves breakfast from 7am, buffet style and Japanese flavors for about US$16. The rooms are relatively small but with a great mattress and good pillows. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and extremely polite. We flew in to Haneda Airport and took taxis to and from the hotel, just for convenience, although there is a train that may need one transfer to get to Ueno. In brief, I would recommend this hotel. Safe travels"
