Foreigner friendly, nice onsite spa even though it was small it was clean and well stocked, and central to many shops and around the corner from the Umeda station which was huge and had so many food options

This place was very homey. I wish the rooms had just a bit more room, but they were clean and lived up to great standards. They did call the room a couple times to ask if they could clean the room after we had put the sign out to not clean it, but we liked that they wanted to clean the room so often! The amenities were great and the staff was very friendly!

Great hotel, friendly staff. Very convenient location. Easy walk to train station. Surrounded by plenty of dining options within walking distance. Rooms were small but very comfortable. Would recommend and stay again.

Hotel Hokke club is walkable to Umeda Station on the Whity Umeda entrance. From here, you get to your subway/JR options (walk underground, of course). You have varitey of dining, coffee shop options, shopping at either Hankyu, Lucua, Yodibashi are stores again within 10 minutes. Hotel Hokke is tuck nearby what appearts to be entertainment establishments (Pachinko, Theater, clubs). But did not fell out of sorts when going to or leaving the hotel, regardelss of time of day between 8am-11pm.

The hotel lacked certain features I would have expected based on stays in similarly priced hotels in Japan like charging outlets near the bed for phones and bathroom (no outlets). The hotel is in a seedier part of town with hotels by the hour. Easy access to underground rail though via the Whity East Mall exit.

The hotel is in the middle of the "entertainment" district but the room was very quiet. The bathroom was well fitted (I stayed in 13 places this trip so I have something to compare against.) but the room, and especially the bathroom, were too hot (in late October). There are no sockets beside the bed for charging your phone and the curtains were not blackout curtains. The breakfasts were very good. The spa facility is very nice. Good value for the money.

I liked everything about this hotel. My room was clean, tidy with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom though small had a bath as is common in Japan. A nice touch was a line above the bah to dry some small laundry items. The staff were super nice, efficient and friendly attending to my every request promptly and with a smile. I have to mention also the breakfast, it was a wonderful feast of local and international dishes. The location was chosen as it was close to Osaka Railway station and the hotel rate was very reasonable. Overall I would rate my stay as excellent.

The hotel doesn’t provide paper tissues and the internet connection is horrible. You can’t open any websites. The staff at the reception desk are friendly and provide me an airport. However!!!! I found my pajamas and body cream on the floor when I came back. It’s carpet floor and we all know how dirty it is! I usually don’t put anything on the bed cause I wanna save them some effort but I rushed out today and left the pajamas and body cream for the very first time. Guess what?!! All of them are on the carpet when I came back. They could just put it on the chair or desk or anywhere just not on the dirty floor! Besides it’s close to some sex toy shop or hotel which I’m not sure

I was on the 3rd floor facing the pachinko and the curtains in my room were not blocking the lights from outside..It was so bright. I am a foreigner that speaks Japanese but the the staff used super sofisticated high level words, I think they should let loose a little and speak so we can understand. Breakfast was very delicious.

It was very clean and the staff are so lovely, greeting you every time you come through the door. Decent location 10min walk from Osaka station. Roomy bathroom for Japanese standards

Nice location, clean room
Hokke Club is a comfortable hotel with nice amenities in a pretty good location. The room size is slightly on the cramped side, but it is bigger than Tokyo hotels. We had just enough space to just open our suitcase which was fine with us. The check-in process was very smooth, and the lobby staff was always very courteous. In the bathroom we loved the deep-tubs and the electronic bidet. They had all the usual amenities for Japanese hotels- slipper, bathroom slipper, soap, shampoo, bathrobe as well as AC. One of the best features of this place was gender-separated public baths, so basically you can have an onsen-like experience included in a hotel stay in Osaka. The location was convenient as it was pretty close to Umeda Station/ Osaka Station. It's 10-15 minute walk. The area just before the hotel has good restaurants, vibrant nightlife street so it's a good area to walk through. There is also a beautiful small shrine in middle of bustling street. Overall I found the hotel to be a nice location to spend 3 nights in Osaka specially for going to Kobe/Nara for day-trips.

Hokke Club Hotel
Very small room, location not fabulous but just ok. Staff very respectful and very nice as usual in Japan. Did not use the public bath, but one was available at this hotel. Breakfast was available at about $13 per person which we didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Many restaurants nearby.

Not the greatest location
It is a bit of a maze to find the hotel on foot, all of the metro exits nearby were all closed for renovation while we were there. Hotel is fairly standard for Japan though our room was quite spacious. Overall it was an OK hotel, would probably look to stay in a different area of Osaka for any future visits.

Great hotel! Very clean and service was friendly and accommodating. They allowed to hold our luggage the next day after check out while we explored Osaka for a few more hours. I even had time to enjoy the public bath(women and men separate). I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place
