Hotels near Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium

"Good location but dingy just outside the front with a bunch of homeless people. lacking in amenities ( gym , spa , business center , dining options) most functions are self service which are missing the human touch in my opinion. Room was comfortable but Could be better "

"I booked to be near to the Tokyo Marathon starting line, it was just 5 minutes away. I like the location, nice staff, very clean, and good food for dinner. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Mitsui garden. The staff was friendly and the room and common areas were very clean and tidy. As far as location goes, it was ok. It was nice and quiet and It’s not next to any of the main touristy attractions that everyone is after but it is close enough if you jump on the train and go. We would definitely stay here again. "

"While the hotel is centrally located and the lobby looks glamorous, it is several blocks to a metro station. The check in experience is very complex and unfriendly. Scanning QR codes then entering information. Then it doesn’t work. Next the hotel staff need help to complete check in. While there are 3 elevators they close one every morning for “cleaning “ from 8:30-11, while check out is at 10. Lastly, the only room for luggage is under the bed and no drawers for clothes. This means on your knees every time you need something. Overall out of 26 years traveling and staying over 30 nights a year in hotels, I absolutely would not recommend staying here."

"The room, though small, was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly. There is a Family Mart across the street and a 711 around the corner, as well as a Don Quijote. Kabukicho is known as a “bad” area, but I did not feel unsafe at any time walking from Shinjuku station to the hotel. The hotel itself is on a busy street with many people. Just north of the hotel is a nice neighbourhood with many cafes and restaurants. There are several train stations within 10-15 mins walk. The onsen was a nice amenity to have "

"As typical of my other reviews, the room was clean and the housekeeping honored the magnet tag for limited cleaning (replace towels, remove trash). The main entrance is a bit confusing if you had exited gaiemmae station via exit 1A since you need to wrap around the corner where Ken’s Cafe is and walk past Citron and you’d see the entrance. If you take the same exit from the train station, but don’t wrap around the corner, and follow the first signs for Tokyu Stay, you will walk into a nice, small plaza-esque area and there is the Tokyu guest rest area (Not the main lobby). Here, the wonderful staff offered a towel as I was drenched from the rain and I asked if they could hold my bags for a few hours until the check-in since I was very early for check-in and the staff took my information and provided me with a receipt for my bags when it was time to retrieve them. Provided in the rest area was water, coffee and some small treats. The lobby area had free popcorn, water, coffee and teas and the staff was nice enough to relocate my belongings from the rest area up to the lobby area."
