Very unprofessional. Staff would not let me check-in due it not being clear there was a security deposit that I could not afford. The receptionist was rude to me from the start as soon as I walked in

Great service both from the day and night staff. Requested an iron and was brought to my room promptly by the housekeeping staff. Definitely recommend a staff here

This property should be rated-1 and 1 start. This is the second time that Expedia provides information about a hotel that’s not accurate. All reviews state that there are bed bugs, and other bugs in the rooms. The photos are also deceiving. And they charge $5 pounds per piece of luggage if you need to store it.

The place was falling apart with multiple broken shelves, light fixtures that weren't attached leaving a flacid exposed bulbs and the towel railing was detached which the mirror conveniently slammed into because of terrible placement. The best service you'd get was a grunt on your way out and walls were so thin I heard my neighbour snoring all night. Don't recommend.

room TINY ... the tiniest double ive ever experienced. was comfortable and clean TV worked but only had 4 channels .. gave up.looking after reading no service time and again basic tea coffee a maze of corridors and stairs to access the 'double' bedroom staff friendly zero frills

The hotel was conveniently located next to Paddington station and close to my office. Property was outdated and very small. Rooms were basic but to be expected for £55 per night. Overall not awful but it could be so much nicer!

About block away from Paddington underground and a little about another block for the new Elizabeth underground line. Hotel is old so, space is like a capsule. Early check in fees, €25 and €5 per bag for left in baggage. I originally booked for 3 nights but changed to 1 Thursday night for expected average price. Friday and Saturday price charges was about $250 per night; I was not about to pay that much for a twin bed in a small capsule where an under seat luggage could be open on top of a cube chair. A single twin bed is good for a back pack space. The bathroom shower was modern and enough space to move around. The sink is the size of the airplane sink just for washing hands. I changed to a hotel at the LHR airport for about $150 per night for a double bed, more space and conveniently easy walkable access to the Elizabeth line. It’s about a 30 min train ride from Paddington which is not bad because it takes that much time to get around London. From Paddington anyway. T2&T3 and T4 hotels the easiest to get to on Elizabeth Line without transferring trains. T5 you have to transfer on T2T3 platform for T5 destination. LHR Express is the fastest way to T5 for €25 in 15 mins to Paddington. Ascot was good for a one night transitional place. Front desk could be a bit more friendlier but it’s hard to do when one sits on a tiny space smaller than a cubicle.

Front desk staff both day and night were unhelpful. Not even tried to open the door for us with large suitcases. Night shift staff was just grumpy and day shift staff always talks to somebody (friends ?) in Arabic. Not even tried to offer help.

They will cheat you on your deposit if you are not careful. I reached out to them twice to clarify the matter. Twice by email, several months apart. They never did get back to me. I will lodge a formal complaint with Expedia for unsound business practices. They will cheat you. Beware.
