The room serves its purpose for a room to sleep, shower and use the toilet. But a room for 3 people felt very cramped. We only had 2 plugs available for the kettle and a personal charger, also there was a lamp located in a corner with no plug sockets, so it felt like an ornament rather than a useful source of light
(room main light had no lampshade either).
Room smelt damp, moldy in parts, TV was tiny and not in a good location for all to watch TV, and the single bed definitely needs replacing.
First time I've gone to a hotel where you had to hand your key over if you left the building and then collect upon arrival. I'm a cautious person when it comes to London and this could increase potential theft if the keys in the wrong hands, luckily theres a safe in the room so best to utilise that just in case, and this key system could cause potential miscommunication of thinking you've "checked out".
It is expected to always be expensive in London but paying over £500 for 3 nights is daylight robbery. But still a cheap hotel than most if you're on a budget.
Bring ear plugs if you struggle to sleep as you can hear all doors closing and conversations during the night.
