In a city known for tiny overpriced lodgings, this was relatively spacious. There is a loft with a bed, with a 4 foot ceiling - ok for kids, not so great for adults. The apartment felt like a "furnished apartment" as opposed to a hotel room; there were some burn marks on the carpet, and the place could use freshening up. On the other hand, the kitchenette was clean and very usable, and it is a five minute walk from two different tube stops, both of which had plenty of restaurants, pubs and other businesses. Across the main street from the hotel, there is a supermarket, which was very convenient for shopping one or two meals at a time. The hotel/apartment staff were very helpful and friendly.
