Hotel nice, clean, comfortable, however, the restaurant is closed, due to Covid, understand that (although restaurants are open, went to 2 whilst we were there, but that's not the issue). We were not told it was closed, we were told if we wanted breakfast to pre-order for the following morning, not a problem. We were not told it would be delivered to our room. First we knew was when we went down in the lift to find the restaurant. We were dressed up to go to a graduation, there is no where to sit in the room apart from the bed, not ideal. Ordered cereal, no milk, croissants no butter /jam. There were brought up separately. We mentioned our disquiet and said we would only pay for 1 breakfast, but was told as we accepted it they wouldn't do that. The guest leaflet in the room did not say the restaurant was closed or any mention of it being delivered to the room. Sitting on a bed, eating breakfast not ideal. A bit of communication would go a long way. Appreciate we are in tough times still, but it made it for an uncomfortable start to our day.
