"This resort is incredibly beautiful with amazing staff that were kind and friendly. The only reason I did not rate this 5 stars is because both the breakfast and lunch options were redundant. The food items were all the same every single day without any variety."

"Interior of the resort was quite beautiful. Exterior of the resort leaves quite a bit to be desired. The pool area is very condensed and crowded. You feel like you’re on top of the other guests at all times. We spent a lot of our vacation just waiting. Waiting on line for someone at the front desk, waiting in line for the buffet, waiting for service at the pool…just waiting. Pool chairs are nearly impossible to come by. Prepare to pay to rent a cabana if you want somewhere to sit down - or wake at 7:30 AM to save a pool chair. The resort really needs a better solution for the amount of chairs that are being “reserved” but sit empty all day. Restaurant reservations are very difficult at several restaurants in the resort particularly the steakhouse and Italian restaurant. Your best bet is to show up and see if anyone was a no-show and get a walk-in table. The best way to sum up this resort is simply ‘mid’. Not awful, not great. Mid-level quality, mid-level service mid-level amenities. It was a fair price for what we got, but I would not return, nor would I recommend. "

"For the price I paid it was so well done. The room was very clean n functionable, staff are so friendly and the location is close to other food amenities. For the price I paid we were able to get so much value: warm outdoor pool, breakfast, airport shuttle, room is very clean and spacious and friendly staff. 5 stars all the way"

" I had an absolutely incredible experience at Moon Palace Resort. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The resort is stunning, beautifully maintained, and offers something for everyone. "This property could be a 4/5 but a few key problems made our stay problematic: Extremely busy and overbooked for amount of amenities such as not enough pool chairs, long wait times for cafe, food trucks, pizza place (30-45 min) If you weren’t at the pool before 8 you would not get a chair but chairs couldn’t be reserved before 7, yet by 7 half of the chairs were gone. They removed our stuff when we went at 6am. Not having suffcient chairs for half of your guests seems like a huge miss. Dinners was another sticking point- you had to make reservations at midnight for the next 2 days and even then you could not get some restaurants. Timeshare/ prime/ diamond club is quite scammy. If you don’t have diamond club you miss out on a lot of perks- ie) you won’t get a chair, won’t be able to get to the restaurants you want etc. kids club you had to leave your child you could not stay and play with them and we were not comfortable with that so we didn’t use it Everything else is an extra charge Water park is a little sketch. Multiple people got stuck in the slides that we met. Food was decent. We did have some good meals. Very mid lots of stuff was just OK. We enjoyed the Indian restaurant and Agave the Mexican best. Staff at the pool cabanas were very good to us."
